Nigeria's Council of States insists FEB 14, Election will hold.

Nigeria's Council of States insists FEB 14, Election will hold.

The council of all past president met yesterday in Abuja to discuss on the forthcoming election and also deliberate on the need for the postponement of the general election. However the information reaching news men after the meeting has it that the election date will not change, that any effort to change it may be seen as irrelevant this time, as the Independent National Electoral Commission and the council of armed forces has given the country the assurance and their readiness for the forthcoming election.

Feb 14 is the Date says Jega

The Chairman Independent National Electoral Commission Professor Atthairu Jega, has further stressed its readiness for the Election come FEB 14 , but the Nigeria security personnel seems to be invisible as all effort of meeting with them has proved abortive.

The Chairman INEC, has further stressed its readiness for the Election come FEB 14 , but the Nigeria security personnel seems to be invisible as all effort of meeting with them  has proved abortive. The commission, military, police and all other paramilitary have to meet before the forthcoming election to discuss on the best way to secure votes and the voters during the election and after.

However, some nongovernmental group gathered today in some part of Abuja to protest. They gathered to show their grievances of not supporting the election postponement. On their placards, captured this  interesting  slogan  ''Nigerians Have Spoken, Indeed, The Whole Wold Have Spoken, Elections must Hold On the 14 of February 2015"

President Mugabe should Rest or retire !!!

Robert Gabriel Mugabe is a Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who is the President of Zimbabwe. As one of the leaders of the rebel groups against white minority rule.

See photos of the event where the Zimbabwean president was falling down helplessly. It's seems this people just wish Mugabe is dead at 80. What those he want again? or is it that there are  no younger intelligent ones in the country who can consolidate Mugabe's goodwill ?

Looking at this pictures, you will understand clearly that people who are to guide Mugabe stood firmly looking at him while he fall to the ground with their hands folded.
A reporter just said and i quote  "I think this man should just retire"

Lagos And Transition

See pix story Of Lagos

Lagos then:
This what the then Lagos looks like unnecessarily crowded giving room for hoodlums to operate and escape easily, very lawless and dirty.

Lagos state now:

Seeing is believing. There is a tremendous differences between the Lagos of old and present.
looking at this picture it shows that the people around in this picture are orderly, respectful and this will give no hoodlums a chance to do their regular "pick pocket" or snatching of bags and all other wicked acts.

Lagos to BE

See pix below:

with no doubt the APC government under the regime of governor Babatune Fasola SAN, has consolidated on what Asiwaju Tinubu has laid down and has been able to redefine Lagos and its environs. Eko-oni ba je o!

Tunisia fined $50,000, referee suspended after chaotic end to AFCON

Tunisia Fined $50,000, referee suspended after chaotic end to AFCON match

A referee making a poor call that helps ruin your tournament doesn’t give a team the right to reign chaos down on a stadium.

''Furious Tunisian players were guilty of insulting and trying to assault the referee after the game, CAF said, but none of the players were named or punished, according to the statement late Tuesday.

Along with the $50,000 fine, CAF ordered the Tunisian federation to send a letter of apology by the end of Thursday for suggesting the referee’s decision was part of intentional bias on CAF’s part against Tunisia. If the Tunisians did not apologize, CAF said, they could be thrown out of the next African Cup of Nations tournament in 2017.''
Am so glad that this referee has now been brought to book for that bad intention of his.

Can Lagos Change?

What does the people of Lagos want?

To a large extent, i think the people of Lagos are just tired of this present administration and want to go back to their old ways of doing things. Lagos has been so clean since the AD,AC and now APC took over the state since 1999 when democracy was fully returned to Nigeria, PDP has never won in Lagos.

I saw something this morning which really made me sad. Can you just imagine a spot where we have an APC stand bearing Ambode and PDP stand with the gubernatorial flag bearer. The poster on the APC stand has been removed to half while the PDP poster was left untouched, all because the APC government does not and will not support anyone displaying market on the road thereby cause traffic and risk of life all in the name of making quick money without them wanting to pay tax.

It's so sad that our people will rather promote insanity instead of sanity. No wonder Buhari dealt with Lagosians ruthlessly under his administration. This is because our people has, or will rather remain unchanged while they clamor for change and development. i have never seen a developed country having a state as large as Lagos highly civilized densely populated in fact a mega city capacity and there will be Motto cycle as a means of transportation and people opening shops without a proper plans or selling on the main street and pedestrian lane etc.

Lagos state has recorded a lesser mortality rate ever since okoda was ban all around the metropolis, reducing regular accident caused by the ignorant okada riders that seems to have forgotten that peoples life should be guided.

Way forward for Our Country Nigeria

The state of this country is so bad, and to find a way out of this present condition, some remarkable changes have to take place to connotes transparency, development and unit the nation as one.
Or how are we to explain the believes of our leaders, that they must spend 8yrs in power either they made progress or not. Everyone must stay for 8yrs?
